This is a second hand refrigerator that wasn't used for a couple of months before we bought it from a friend and it works better than a new one

Inferior product

Within one year of purchase the plastic drawers began cracking, the noise the refrigerator made when running went from nearly silent to LOUD, and the grill on the bottom is difficult to remove and replace for cleaning. I was advised against purchasing a GE refrigerator and wish I had listened.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The features of having only one receptacle for ice and water is slightly inconvenient but I don't like change. The unit has great space configurations and cools and freezes wonderfully. I will be thankful if I get half of the 20 years of service of my previous model.
