Great Printer

I bought the Epson Stylus Photo RX680 when my Epson Stylus Photo 1200 stopped working after 8 years. I wanted an all-in-one because I did not like the scanner that I had so I donated the scanner to a local charity and I love my new RX680. It was very easy to set up and the printing is superb. As a proud grandmother, I take a lot of photos of my beautiful little granddaughter. The clarity and purity of the colors in the photos printed on my RX680 rivals any that I have seen. It is much faster than my 1200 (not surprisingly) and I really like that I can print without using the PC. I wish that there had been a fax with the RX680 but I will just buy a cheap one and be very satisfied with my RX680. The scanner has great resolution. I would recommend this all-in-one printer to anyone.

Print on CD's

Great Printer

Print quality and speed are excellent quality for standard print jobs. I haven't yet printed any photos or on CDs so I can't honestly comment on that as of yet.
RX680 was easy to set up with good instructions and intuitive enough to operate right after setup.
Overall, considering price, performance (speed), and quality I've been thrilled with my purchase.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Brilliant prints

I was told by a semi-professional photographer to by the RX series. I'm glad I listened! The print is fast, good quality prints, several useful options and loved the price. You'll have to download the scanner driver from this website though; it did not come with the package. Real easy to do.

Excellent Quality Printer

Initially had an issue of ink cartridge not recognized- seems a common issue but i beleive it would work if tried other set of cartridges or the one provide error- but epson sent a replacement printer overnight and it is an excellent quality printer i printed few cd/dvds (taiyo yuden water shiled), double-sided print(duplex) and used the ultra photo glossy paper from epson sample, and old photo restore is such a amazing stuff-4x6 enlarged with color restore and printed in letter size-wow it is wonderful, they all stand for quality and i am very much satisfied to have this machine.

Cartridge eater

This thing uses cartidges like it always has an endless supply. It will even reject new cartridges like they aren't even there. I've used 23 black cartidges since May and have replaced all the colors twice even though I only print in black. This has to be the most expensive printer ever to use.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Has Everything I need

I bought the RX680 printer because I have owned Epson Printers in the past. The customer service has been good and they stand behind their product. That printer worked well for many years. I bought this Rx680 because of the rating for printing. I also like that the ink cartages are sperate and you buy them as each runs out. I also bought it because of the number of seperate colors which help with producing a better quality protograph. I was happy with cost.

it has two paper trays i can print cd's and makes incredible photos what more could a man ask for in a printer
