If you are on the fence... GET OFF AND PURCHASE THIS AMAZING , FUN PHOTO PRINTER! AWSOME!!!! HAVE PURCHASED 3 AND THE CARRY CASE TOO IS GREAT!

No Problems

Have owned the PM290 for a few months. Setup was pretty straight forward and prints are excellent. Prints from camera card and also connected to PC. Only "issue" encountered so far: have to step through menu every time you print in order to display the date on the print--should be able to save as a default setting. For supplies, should be able to buy just the ink cartridge without the photo paper.

After my trip to Alaska in October 2008, I had my photos (over 500) done by a professional photo store. I purchased a PictureMate Zoom this spring. I am now in the process of putting a scrapbook together from my Alaska trip. I made the mistake of reprinting just one picture on my new Zoom, and I was amazed at the difference - now I wish I could reprint all 500 pictures on the Zoom. I held up a picture printed on my Zoom and a picture printed by the photo studio - I wouldn't have believed the difference if I hadn't seen it with my own eyes. In the photo studio picture it was just water - with my Zoom there were waves and ripples! Same with the trees, just a tree with the photo shop picture - with my Zoom, I could actually see individual branches! Ditto with everything else, snow, ice, glaciers, etc. I love my PictureMate! Thank you!

My husband purchased this printer for my birthday. I was a classic example of someone who has a computer loaded with pictures that have never been printed. This printer has changed everything. The photo quality is better than I could ever have anticipated!! I completed all of my photo Christmas cards from the convenience of my home...priceless! Thank you Epson, for creating such a high-quality, user friendly photo printer!

Best Printer EVER!!!!!

This is the best printer I have ever had or used. The pictures are so clear, it is fast, and it does exactly what it says it will do. It is easy to set up and being able to take it with you without the use of a computer is priceless. The only bad thing I would say and it isn't really anything to say about the printer itself is that the cartridge that comes with the printer doesn't print but about 25 pictures. You definitely need to order extras at the time of your purchase especially if you are like me and do alot of printing. I have used it one day and am already ordering some more to have on hand. I have alot of catching up to do on printing my pictures and I would not use any other printer, not even the professionals at the stores you take yours to to be printed. They can't even beat the quality of this one, and the convenience of being able to do it in your home!!!! Can't be beat! I absolutely love it! Now just make a bigger printer just like this one...Love it, love it, love it.....Thanks.....

I bought this printer to take to Hawaii. Love the size, easy to travel with. I am so impressed with the quality of the pictures. I was able to print my pictures in a very short time. The color and contrast is fantastic. It was worth every penny. The photo packs actually print the amount of pictures it says. There is no fading, when it is out out ink the printer stops, tells you to replace ink and resumes where it left off. One of the best purchases I have ever made.

I received this as a birthday gift last year. I had a previous picturemate and loved it. This Zoom is even more wonderful. I brought it to a small wedding we are attending. I actually printed pictures for a small picture album a CD of all the pictures we took and presented to the bride and groom before the end of the party. I am a GS Leader and I am able to take and print pictures for my girls immediately for their Scrap Books.. Epson, I have a family member who would like this printer but we have been unable to get it anywhere... YOU NEED TO MAKE More....

I purchased my PM290 last fall before a road trip out west and am VERY impressed with the quality of prints and the features. The prints are as good if not better than any professional photo printing that I have ever seen - and almost instantatly and at a fraction of the cost. I also print photos to attach to note cards that I package and sell and this printer has eliminated the need for any other printing service. Thank you Epson for a great product!
I want to purchase another one for a gift for a friend but they are out of stock. Hopefully Epson will restock soon so that I can buy another unit from them!!!
