New print head did the trick

I have been having trouble with my printer quality for quite a while, and it finally got to the point where the black would not print at all. I went to the HP site, searched the problem, and it sounded like one of the print heads was the issue. I decided to bite the bullet and buy a new one. It did the trick, and my printer is as good as new. I am pleased, especially since I had several unopened packages of ink on hand !
I would recommend this to a friend!

Didn't last very long

This is the second replacement HP 88 Black Yellow print head I've have put into my L7680. The original lasted a couple of years. The second one didn't last nearly as long and produced fewer copies. Hoping this one does better.

This was the first time I needed to replace printheads since purching the officejet printer over 5 years ago. The design of the printheads, like the ink cartridges, is simple and clean for usage. Following the replacement directions, explicitly, makes it a snap to do, I have used HP products for years and have never been disappointed.

The HP printheads are so quick and easy to install. Just as easy to remove old ones by virtue of the handle that can be raised for pulling up.

We ran all the tests on our printer, and it indicated that we needed the Black/Yellow print head replaced. So, we ordered the recommended replacement product and installed it per the instructions. We still have the horizontal lines in our documents....UNLESS we use the 'best' print mode.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Have had a lot of problems with the black/Yellow printhead. Although you people have answered my situations, I have spent a lot of time trying to fiqure out the problem. Because of the issue and trying to get the printer to work at church, we now have 3 extra printheads.
I would recommend this to a friend!
