washer that almost exactly replaces old washer

This is a washer that is close in features to our previous GE washer which we liked. It also is a size that allowed a trouble free fit through doorways and down the stairs to the basement.

After researching many different types and brands, this top-loader had consistently good reviews-easy to use, quiet, and does what it's supposed to do-clean clothes. Good value without all the bells and whistles we didn't need.

I find that the washer gets unbalanced often when doing large loads such as sheets. Then you have to stop it and balance the load manually which is a huge pain.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
