I love this system. Not only did it promise exceptional quality, it delivered. I have purchased and used HP products from the beginning and believe this one to be their best thus far.

Just bought this printer...it has everything a home office would need. One big thing that impressed me was the muliiple paper sizes it accomodates.
Super easy to install. Is a bit nosiey but it's really not load compared to my old PSC 2610. Thanks HP for another great product. I even trusted it to print copies of my Daughter's Wedding....no one could tell I did it myself. I would diffenetly recomend this for any home office!

Rough start, but I love it!

The printer I brought home was defective and I had to exchange it the next day. But Reuben at HP's online help center was helpful in trying to get the first one going. The second printer is fine, though the software was a little funky and I had to delete and re-intall it. But now I have a GREAT printer, which I use wirelessly from my desktop and from my laptops. It's quick, the quality is faultless, and the photos rival what I get from the drug store. I used the scanner to digitize and email some old photos and it is quick, and operation is almost totally intuitive. This printer was a bargain at its list price, but I was lucky enough to get it during a huge promotion and I think I got a steal!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Bought this to replace an Office Jet 7130 X. The black ink jet is not at all reliable or efficient. With certain fonts and paper stocks, there are large gaps in the dot matrix. Very poor print quality. This was true on some faxes as well. Not true on plain white paper. The wireless software caused my lap top to crash completely. The only way to retrieve functionability was to reset the computer to a date prior to installing the HP software. The wireless function on my main frame was slow and unreliable. Lots of great features. Way to buggy. Don't do it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Very fast printing color/bw and very fast coping. Easy to setup. Easy to replace ink. Autofeed works good.

I purchased the printer yesterday and spent the majority of last night and today learning about and playing with its features and functions. As far as performance and overall rating, I have to give this product a 4 as I have not used it long enough yet to establish an honest evaluation on how well it will perform in its various capacities. Print outs of computer web sites and scans of different catalogues and magazines yielded crisp and sharp images with great color balance, very close to that of the original The unit is quite noisy and jerky in operation, but otherwise, set up was relatively easy. This unit replaces a simple ink jet printer whose software was unfortunately incompatable with Vista premium. I look forward to exploring the other features this machine has to offer. Sofar, I'm satisfied, though the LCD screen could have been a bit larger and the spring loaded clips holding the ink cartridges could have been made a bit more sturdy as they appear rather flimsy and the dealer who sold me the printer told me that he actually broke a few of these on a couple of printers that he had in stock. Time will tell.
