no more brother

i had the brother intellifax 2940 for a week before it would not pick up the paper. now 10 for 10 tries would not pick up paper. junk

I've used both features; copy & fax. I read the directions for use, but truthfully, one only has to look at the keyboard & figure out the procedures. This product is well worth the price.

BIggest pain in the neck to set up!!

A fax machine should fax. This took multiple tries, too much trial and error and far too much frustration before it would fax. If it were my decision, boat anchor would have been returned ASAP.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Specs Lacking...

There are only 4 accessories, a replacement drum, toner, a phone cord, and a paper tray.
I've ADDED trays to lasers before, but never replaced one... How often does this tray break for it to be considered an "accessory"? It's also not clear if you can ADD or only REPLACE a paper tray (that only holds a half ream of paper). Have you ever bought a 250 sheet package of copier paper before?
I would recommend this to a friend!
