Installation Nightmare

I bought this range hood for out kitchen remodel and it has taken over 1 month to get the correct parts for the installation. First of all the installation instructions are very vague and there is not nearly enough detail. For instance, when you see the parts provided it shows the filters, a package of screws, damper and filter support. The package of screws contains numerous different types of screws but yet when the reading the directions it only says "use the included screws" but does not specify the EXACT screws to use and if you use the wrong ones it will come back to get you in a later portion of the installation. My unit also did not include the filter support so they had to send me a new one. For the amount of money I paid for this I thought a little more effort could have gone into the instructions. I wish had not purchased the range and dishwasher already so that I could go with a completely different brand.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

GE cafe dual fuel range

Looks great in our kitchen and performs perfectly. The oven saves time on baking and the gas range is fast too. This oven bakes better than any pizzeria or local bakery.

I BOUGHT A MONTH AGO BUT WAS INSTALLED TWO WEEKS AGO, TAKE OUT ALL ODOR OF FOOD SPICES. IT IS VERY STRONG AND NOISE BUT OTHER WAYS IS PERFECT NO COMPLAIN AT PRESENT. LOOK VERY STYLE (FANCY).THE ONLY THINK WAS DID NOT BRING THE TOP PART BUT MY FRIEND MAKE GREAT JOB WENT INSTALLED.

Bought this range as a package upgrade of kitchen remodel. Love the lay out. Everything operates great. Only short fall would be lack of optional control on upper oven which gets 90% of use.lower oven has all the options
