Reliable long lasting Home Theater System

Bought my Phillips HTS3151D Home Theater System well over 15 years ago, great sound, easy to use and very reliable, unfortunately the lazer just took a turn for the South, I tried cleaning it but it will only read for a short while then freezes, I'm assuming the lazer has become weak, I can't even estimate the number of hours on this unit but it has given me years of pleasure, the Surround portion of the unit still works fine, I have the AUX inputs utilized and the sound is still superior, however the unit is not of much use to me without the DVD/CD, and the DTS3151D is no longer available, I hope to find the most current similar model to replace it. Yes its going to be Phillips.
