Convection oven vent causes panel to short out

I try to use the convection oven for roasting vegetables, but the vent blows moist heat up to the control panel and it eventually shorts out. We've had it repaired multiple times, replaced control panel but it happens again. If I try 425 degrees it takes about 30 minutes to short out.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
