Does a great job!

I love this brush for myself and my two children, ages 8 and 11. My only complaint is that the battery life for recharging is only about a year and a half. After that, you have to buy a whole new brush.
Pros: great cleaning
Cons: low battery life
I would recommend this to a friend!

Not what I wanted

My only complaint (and it is a big one) is that the unit I bought doesn't have the "beeping" every 30 seconds (called "Quadpacer", I think) and having used Sonicare products exclusively for, maybe, 15+ years, I feel cheated every time I brush my teeth.
I had mistakenly thought that this was a "signature" feature of all Sonicare products. It should be.
Pros: good quality
Cons: no quadpacer
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Effortless perfection

This product works great for cleaning your teeth. Once you use it and feel the difference you'll never go back. My dentists have noticed the difference as well... Before I told them I was using it!

this product collects water inside and is hard to clean.

This toothbrush allows water to get into the battery compartment at each and every rinsing. By the time I realized water was being trapped inside I had black gunk collected in the battery compartment and in the inner workings of the bushhead. this was very hard to get clean again.
Pros: my teeth do feel clean
Cons: gunk collects inside the brush workings

Best Gift Ever!

I received this as a Christmas gift years ago, and I still use it regularly. I love it so much I have convinced others to buy Sonicare! The dentist even noticed a difference. After brushing, it feels like I just had a professional cleaning from the dentist.
Pros: works great, still going strong after many years of daily use
Cons: replacement heads can get pricey, head can get funky if not rinsed thorougly
I would recommend this to a friend!

I've tried a couple of electrics in the past and was never pleased beyond the point of acknowledging that they performed better than a manual brush. The Sonicare has proved to be a huge advancement. It took a few tries to get used to, but then it became a very important part of my daily grooming routine. The portability is excellent. I've recommended the Sonicare several times and those who bought it were as pleased as I am.
Pros: really performs it's task well
Cons: cost (of course)

Poorly designed.

This product is the most unsanitary toothbrush I have had. Water and toothpaste get into the base of the brush and it has to be cleaned daily with a Q-tip.
Cons: totally unsanitary
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This product is just ok

I had a much older model of this toothbrush and loved it but could not find replacement brushes so I purchased this new model.
I seldom had to clean the older one but this one needs cleaning at least once a week if not more. I find it just adds to my list of things to do. Now I am sorry I could not find replacement brushes for my old one.
