Excellent Product!

This was my first Sonicare. My husband has used one for years.
The "softer" intro on the brush worked well for me. It gave me some time to get used to the brush. The timer function is a very useful feature. I use the Sonicare every night. I do use a regular tooth brush in the morning and feel that my mouth is not as clean.
Per my periodontist, my gums have improved and gum bleeding is reduced.
I am completely satisfied. It is an excellent product.
Pros: timer feature

Sonicare is the best friend my teeth ever had.

Since I started using the Sonicare my teeth have been cavity free and my gums are much stronger and healthier. It is easy to use and ensures that I brush for the right amount of time. It does a superior job to brushing by hand. I feel it is the best electric toothbrush on the market both in performance and reliability. The best thing me and my wife ever did for our oral health was to start using the Sonicare.
Pros: great for the gums

The best toothbrushing apparatus ever invented

I'm thrilled that my dentist insisted I get a Sonicare brush. Once I used it, I was appalled that I'd gone all of my life without experiencing the unique oral sensations the brush delivers. My teeth seriously have never felt cleaner, and the gum massage is magical. Also exciting is how transportable the brush is. I even take it with me camping - I just make sure it's fully charged beforehand.
I would recommend this to a friend!

good entry level sonic toothbrush

I love my sonic toothbrush. That being said, this is a great basic design entry level product. I love that it warns you of low battery before it runs out. Also I like that the battery base of the brush is self contained, makes it easy to keep clean. What I DO NOT like is the price of the replacement heads!!! In the end, it's about dental hygiene, which I am ecstatic with!
Pros: ease of changing heads, battery low warning before running out of juice
Cons: price of replacement heads, length of recharge time

This is my second Sonicare toothbrush in 20 yrs and my reviews at the dentist have never been better. The only place I see room for improvement is in the design as water drips down the inside neck of the toothbrush and into the housing of the handle, where it accumulates until you unscrew it and clean and dry it periodically.
Pros: does a great job at the gumline
Cons: water accumulates inside chamber
