Decent product for the price. We miss the "quad" feature which divides the running time into four segments.
Pros: decent product
Cons: missing features from prior product

This product is wonderful, i notice how clean my mouth is more with this product than I did with a normal manual tooth brush!

The bristles in the brush are tooo firm....

The bristles in the brush are tooo firm....and I have used it 3 times since i bought it!
I am using a soft bristle toothbrush the right way, but what are my options for getting softer brush for my brand new Sonicare?
I have had a sonicare for 10 years. I love it.. help me!

Great product but noiser then others

This is my third sonicare, the other two lasted far longer then any other rechargable product I have owned. The new one is great but it is noiser then the others. Maybe it will quiet down after some more use.

Slim handle makes it easy to use and the brushes are easy to get on and off. This is our second unit as we just wore out the first one's battery.

I love the Sonicare! It's worth every cent. I purchased it after seeing it sold at my dentists office. I figured if they sold it, they are endorsing it and it must be good. My teeth feel noticeably cleaner after I use it and if I don't use it for a few days or weeks I can feel the difference. My 11-yr- old son has been using it for the past 3 years without complaint. (It's easy to share this because all you need to do is switch a different toothbrush head.) I like that it really does a better job at cleaning his teeth than he would by himself. His pediatric dentist is glad he uses a Sonicare as well.
I have a 7-year-old daughter and when I tried to let her use it at age 5, she didn't like it. The vibrations felt too strong on her baby teeth. (It never bothered my son nor I.) I've tried a few disposable brands for children and those are pretty useless. After 2 years of going back and forth about whether or not a kids Sonicare is worth it or not, I'm about to order the kids one for her.
This is my second Sonicare. My first one died after 2 years. It has a 2 year warranty. I went ahead and purchased another one because I was so impressed with the performance of my first one. Other people have told me their Sonicare's have lasted for years, so I'm not too worried about it. If it lasts me for 2 years, it was a GREAT 2 years. Everyone should have one of these.
The gunk that accumulates in the inside of the unit (visible when you switch the toothbrush head) is not a big deal to me. I just clean it every once in rare while. The pros outweigh the cons with this product.
