I will never use a manual toothbrush again

I love to brush my teeth now. I spend 4 to 5 times as long. Only draw back is you go through the adapters I would say once a month for an effective clean.
Pros: cleaner teeth
Cons: toothbrush heads - change once a month

Overall, this model has good features

I like Sonicare products and I've owned several models over the years. I purchased this model because it was a good price. It cleans well and I like the features, with the one BIG exception being the handle! It is very slippery and needs some kind of rubber grip. It has slipped out of my hand several times during brushing - spraying toothpaste all over the mirror! Other than this annoying oversight, I like this model.
Cons: slippery handle

Satisfactory Performance

My mouth feels very clean and the surface of my teeth feels like glass. Brushing is easy but keeping it sanitary is another matter because liquid accumulates in the battery compartment with each use so I must remove the head and clean inside the unit every time I brush. It does NOT have a timer! My husband has this model too and he has the same complaints. This is his first sonic and he did receive a better dental checkup. I've been using a Phillips for years but I prefer the older model with the timer that I purchased 14 years ago! So, this model cleans well but the inconvenience of keeping it sanitary and the cost of replacement brush heads are major drawbacks.
Pros: cleaning ability
Cons: liquid accculates in battery compartment, extra time required to keep unit sanitary, no timer, cost of replacement toothbrush heads

The brush does a good job on keeping my teeth clean etc. In the past years my gums would always bleed during brushing this as stopped with the Sonicare. My gums no longer bleed if I use a coventional toothbrush. MY only complaint about the produt is one must replace the entire brush head quarterly. This is expensive and an ecological waste. The folks in Sonicare engineering can do better than that.

I can't rave enough about my toothbrush

This product has so many assets. I have been using my Philips Sonicare for about 15 years. I use it daily with flossing and have regualar dental care. I am 72 years old and my dentist was so impressed with my teeth and gums that he took pictures. I still have all my own teeth and I contribute all my oral good health to Sonicare. I truly believe that keeping a food free mouth during my sleeping hours definately wards off cavities. My mouth is totally clean every night all night. Any problems or replacements with my toothbrush have been pleasantly repaired or replaced. I love Sonicare and I love Philips. Their consumer policy rises above all.
Pros: your customer policy is just fantastic, sonicare is a wonderful health invention
Cons: i have none

I so missed my Sonic Toothbrush
