My wife, youngest son and I all have switched to the Philips Sonicare Essence and have been very satisfied with its performance. I use it at least 5 times a day! Charging the device is easy, quick, and convenient. The 2 minute times is also convenient and perfect for some people who think that they have brushed their teeth enough.
Pros: having the travel case is nice.
Cons: expensive brush head refill.

Gets teeth white and clean

I love the results from this toothbrush, but I find it heavy and awkward to use due to the size and weight of the handle. The two minute timer is great, to make sure you brush long enough, but stopping to spit is a pain when the brush is still spinning. I haven't quite figured out how to use this toothbrush without making a mess. However, I get much better results with this toothbrush than with the traditional manual toothbrush.
Pros: gets teeth whiter than traditional toothbrush
Cons: heavy awkward handle

This is the best tooth brush I have ever owned! It really does clean my teeth better than a manual an better than other motorized tooth brushes that I have owned.
Pros: great clean feeling.

I was a skeptic at first. After the first week I am hooked. Two minutes when I wake up and before bed and the job is done. I use no toothpaste with the electric brush. I brush with a regular toothbrush and paste following the electric brush.
Pros: i'm hooked
