The seams on the side are slightly open. I always have a small amount of brown water on the charger.

My Sonicare battery didn't last as long as the manual indicated, and Sonicare replaced the handle.

Great tool-the best dental care preventive gum treatment

I have been an enthusiastic advocate and Sonicare-user since 2001 when my dentist strongly recommended it to keep my gums healthy and prevent plaque, gum problems and tooth decay.
I really notice the difference when I forget to pack my Sonicare when I travel and need to use a toothbrush or a battery-operated electric toothbrush without sonic waves.
Pros: great for preventing plaque and gum inflammation
Cons: remembering to pack it and charger

With its comfortable but firm brush head, this certainly is the right tool for that tough job. It gets into those hard to reach places that normal brushes can't. It is especially good for those of us with chronic gingivitis.

I do like my new Essence product. My mouth feels very clean after each use. I also notice that the backs of my teeth feel smoother than ever before. I look forward to seeing what my dentist says at my next checkup.

purchased two sonicares for my kids. They enjoy brushing their teeth, because there's no question of how long they need to brush. When the sonicare stops their teeth are brushed!
