extremely efficient yet simple to maintain

since purchasing my sonicare a few months ago, I have had fanatastic results according to my dentist. My teeth feel cleaner each time I use the sonicare. The philips sonicare is also easy to maintain, charge and even carry along in it's rugged carry case.
I would highly recommend the sonicare to anyone who would like to maintain their dental hygiene.

This is a great toothbrush that gives a nice clean! The only thing I have a problem with is that now we've almost used it a year and the battery seems to be loosing its juice...

Dentist Recommended for a Reason!

Over the past couple of years each dental checkup revealed either gum issues, excessive plaque buildup and/or cavities. The dentist recommended - almost insisted - I get a Sonicare toothbrush at a cleaning appointment several months ago. I had been using a Spinbrush, but decided to invest in the Sonicare unit. Brushing was easier, my teeth looked brighter and my gums felt better within 2 weeks of using the Sonicare. I had another cleaning checkup a few weeks ago and the hygenist was amazed at how little plaque was found and I can attest as there was very little scraping on the teeth to remove the plaque. In addition there were no cavities and the gums looked much better. Best health investment I have made in a long, long time.
Pros: recharges - no batteries to replace!

Terrific reliability, cost, performance--low maintenance :)

After buying a number of lower-cost electric toothbrushes (which were still better than hand brushes) and becoming dissatisfied with their reliability, performance, and high maintenance, I shopped the "better" brands.
For cost, reliability, and performance (not to mention VERY low maintenance) no other oral product even comes close!
One hint: soaking the brush head in hydrogen peroxide once every two weeks or so ensures hygienic oral care!
I would recommend this to a friend!

This product does a good job on teeth

This product does a good job, but I am disappointed because it does not hold a charge and I have to keep to keep it plugged in all the time. Also I have to sometimes press the on button 3 or 4 times before it stays on. How long is this product supposed to last? I use it twice a day.I have used it for 1 year.
Pros: does a good job on teeth, add a pro

great product

I have used a rechargeable toothbrush for years. When the Braun kicked the bucket I decided to try the Sonic. The head is much better and the performance is much better. The negative is when the timer is initiated the toothbrush completely stops and the cleaning of the unit is much more time comsuming. Overall I will stick with the Sonic because the perfomance is superior to the Braun.
