I have owned several Sonic Care toothbrushes. I love them all. I started using one back in 2000. My dentist office recommended it. Eventually, my family of 4 all had one. The sonic care strongly encourages you to brush for 2 minutes. You also get instructional aides on how to use it properly. The best part is how clean your teeth are after you use this toothbrush. This past Christmas , I bought a sonic care for several family members and a new one for myself.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This is the second time we have purchased Sonicare rechargeable toothbrushes. An original of a two brush set after 5 years needed replacement, so the new set was purchased. Some nice design improvements including two speed brush control and easy clean charging stand. The only down side is that the old brush we have will not charge on the new charger. Other than no backward compatibility, no complaints at all with the new brushes.
Pros: ease of use and long battery charge life
Cons: not backward compatible with older brush model

Great Battery Life and does a great job of cleaning

I had heard of the Sonic care toothbrush from others who owned them and Dentist everywhere.
At my age, with my receding gums it was something the dentist recommended. It is a great toothbrush, with unbelievable battery life. The toothbrush does a great job of cleaning and it does it by itself because of way the toothbrush works. I brush twice daily and the battery life will last for at least two weeks before charging again. And with the built in chargeable battery you never have to buy batteries.
This is the second Phillips toothbrush I've purchased and it works great. I was a repeat customer because I was so pleased with the first one. I had my first one for a few years until the battery died, which is normal. It cleans well and is very easy to use.
Pros: reliable, stays charged, does the job its supposed to do
Cons: wish it was a little easier to grip. gets slippery

My Dentist recommended the Sonicare toothbrush system, because I have "Parkinsons", and experience trouble using a regular toothbrush.
I am so happy with the Sonicare Essence toothbrush. It is easy to hold, and does a great job keeping my teeth and gums clean. I can hold it in either hand, and it does the work for me.
The unit has a built in timer, so you just let it do the work for you, and it shuts off when time is up, giving you a great clean feeling. I then floss and rinse, and my mouth feels great.
Because of my Parkinsons, I was not really able to hold a regular toothbrush and brush properly. I never felt like I was getting my teeth or gums clean. I really love this product.
Pros: works great without effort.

I bought a Sonicare toothbrush on the recommendation of my dental hygenist. The store that I was shopping at did not have the model in the dentist's office or I would have upgraded to that model. The model I did buy was a step down and did not have all of the features I would like. The worst thing about this is that the body is not air tight and will fill will water after just a few uses so it tends to grow mold and needs a lot of inside maintenace.
Pros: cleans teeth very well with new brush heads.
Cons: brush heads wear out a month ahead of time., brush body fills w/h2o. grows mold w/o maintenance
For the past several years I have using 2 Essence toothbrushes....one in the morning and the other in the evening.
They perform well and quite convenient for use. The handle is a bit too big (fat) and somewhat slippery when wet bu overall not too bad. I clean these handles every 3-weeks or so. When not on charge I can get at least 4 brushes before needing to recharge though I have never really checked it. The charging unit is quite convenient.
Ir is a waste to have to throw away these almost perfectly good brushes after about 2-3 years use so a replaceable rechargeable battery would be a better option than to discard the entire unit.
Brush kife not too bad but way too expensive. Because I use two toothbrushes I replace the heads every 6-months.
Pros: does a good job
Cons: handle too fat and slippery when wet., handle too fat, slippery when wet.
