Great for cleaning teeth

The downside is that it gets very nasty and ugly under the brush head. I wonder how many germs are harbored there? I take it apart and clean it regularly but it still has slime and toothpaste residue. It seems that the design should be a little more efficient at keeping out water,etc on the inside.
Not sure I would buy it again but the initial investment was high so I will continue to use it.
I am pleased that it cleans teeth and gums so well.
I would appreciate your feedback on how to keep it in better shape.

Great dental check-ups but I miss the 30 second beep feature.

Bought to replace a 15 year old Sonicare toothbrush that just wore out. Great dental check-ups since we began using Sonicare 15 years ago so I wasn't going to change now.
I was under the mistaken impression that they all had the "30 second beep" feature that our old toothbrush had. But we only discovered the difference after using it and we're not going to return it because it works great. We'll get used to it.

The only complaints I have are that when you clean it, even if you dry it off, residue runs down the jointsd and endss up in the charger holder and somtimes there is not much delay in the brush times and you are not sure when one time is up.
Pros: does a good job
Cons: hard to clean handle

My husband and I both use Sonicare Essence Rechargeable toothbrushes. We like the fact that they have made a noticeable improvemnt in our dental health. When we travel they are easy to take with us and the charge lasts without worries.

I'm torn about my review.

I bought a Sonicare Essence brush and it worked great for a few months. Then it wouldn't hold a charge and the amount of time I had to brush my teeth decreased what seemed like daily for a few weeks until it just would barely work at all. I called the company and they had sent me a new one because it was still under warranty. I let the new brush charge for a day and when I went to use it, the brush didn't work at all. So I'm now on my third brush and so far it's working. When the brush actually works I like it, but as far as an over all rating, the jury is still out because if they only last a few months then it really doesn't seem worth it to keep using them.

My teeth feel cleaner using this product rather than my regular manual toothbrush.
Not the easiest to hold and maneuver around, reason for fair in ease of use and design.
