My dentist recommended the Sonicare toothbrush because of my problem with plaque. It does help reduce the amount of plaque between dental cleanings. This is my second Sonicare toothbrush. The first one lasted several years. I really enjoy the product.
My only concern is that I seem to need to replace the toothbrush head more frequently than the recommended 3 months. The replacement toothbrush is very expensive because the current design has the motor in the head. I wish the replacement toothbrush was less money.

Longest lasting battery I have used.

I really like the battery in this brush,it has lasted over 30days on one charge & it runs full power right up to the time it goes on the charger. I have yet to have it stop before I am done brushing. I do not keep it in the charger, because it fits in the built in toothbrush holder. No charger to knock into the sink.
Pros: lot more power than my wifes.
Cons: some way to tell when fully charged.

Better checkup after this product!

I LOVE my Sonicare! I have had it for 10 months and use it religiously. My first checkup after using the product was excellent, and I usually never have problem but still saw improvement. The only downfall is the cost of replacement heads. I actually still use a manual brush a few times a week to prolong the life of the brush heads. In addition, I wish it had the 30-second beep to remind you to start brushing a new region, some other brands do have this.
Pros: teeth do feel cleaner
Cons: cost, no timer

Only 1 problem

We found only 1 problem with this item. It leaks. There must be some kind of hole or crack that lets water into the circuitry area. So that we have to dry it out and clean it after each use. Maybe ours is defective.

This product does a good job of cleaning

I love my Sonicare tooth brush and have been using them for years. However the model that I have had for a little over a year no longer holds a charge for more than 2 days and I cannot clean out the well where the brush attaches to my satisfaction.
I would recommend this to a friend!
