I really like how well it cleans my teeth.

Philips Sonecare Essence Rechargeable Sonic Toothbrush was recommended by my family dentist. This product has exceeded my expectations. It is effecive easy to use and the performance is great.I have recommended it to every member of my family.

Longterm Sonicare user...

We have used Sonicare since mid 90's (pre Phillips) and have been absolutely thrilled about using these products! We cannot go back to the old ways and even for travel, we drag along Sonicare. Although one time when I charged my Sonicare via an adapter in Europe, I ruined it perhaps because of 60Hz vs 50Hz difference. The original advance that I owned stopped working just couple of years ago. I hope the same quality and endurance is carried through the next generation.
I do however feel that Sonicare could easily force the market by lowering the brush head cost and gain additional market share, primarily by bringing along new customers. I also noticed that competitors sell through Dentist offices..not sure this is something Phillips does.
Pros: excellent performance, ease of use
Cons: brush head cost, no adapter with 120 to 240v range

Does a Great Job!

I never used a power toothbrush before this one, but I'm impressed. It does a great job getting into hard places and cleaning your teeth. Much better than a manual toothbrush!
Pros: great cleaning ability
Cons: replacement heads are pricey

Great dentist checkup

My husband and I have never used the rechargeable toothbrushes until they were recommended by our dentist and now we will not go anywhere without them. We were so impressed with their performance and the great results at the dentist office, that we purchased each of our grandchildren one for Christmas last year. They also commented on how much they like them. Our twelve year old granddaughter has braces and she really enjoys how clean her teeth feel and how much easier it is to take care of her dental hygene with the rechargeable toothbrush.
