The toothbrush makes it easier to brush longer. I use mine 2 to 3 times a day. It's good for your gums as well. Buy one you'll love it too
Pros: stimualtes the gums, gets teeth really clean
Cons: have to remember to keep it charged
I would recommend this to a friend!

inconvenient for 2 or more users

If 2 or more people are regularly using this product, changing the brush is a bit inconvenient. Water tends to collect in the recess where the brush connects. But the unit does a good job cleaning teeth.

I love this toothbrush and have used them for years, but I have one complaint about it. I wish it was dual voltage. I travel a lot and when I go to England or other countries with 220 voltage I cannot recharge my brush. I am living in Bahrain right now and I had to buy a voltage converter to recharge my toothbrush. Maybe you would consider making a dual voltage charger. Otherwise I cant live with out it.

Switched from Waterpik "equivalent"

I used a Waterpik "equivalent" brush for 5 years and went through 3 of them. I finally switched to the Philips original Sonic brush and the difference is night and day. The brushing speed and power is much better on the Philips and I get the clean teeth feeling you get when leaving your dentist every time. I bought my kids one too. This is really a top notch product and the brushes last about 6 months so the replacement cost is not bad at all.
Pros: excellent brushing power and clean teeth feeling
Cons: having your wife accidentally use your color brush
I would recommend this to a friend!

Sonicare

Excellent. I would not be able to exist without this brush. I like the timing feature. I thought I could do without this feature but I can't.
The toothbrush works great and leaves your teeth feeling fresh. The 2 minute timer really helps with keeping good oral hygiene and makes it difficult to "cheat" and brush for less time like with a regular manual brush. It is incredibly simple to use, just plug and play.
After using my first Sonicare for a year, the brush refused to hold a charge and stopped functioning. Customer service made it hassle free to get a new one under warranty and sent a replacement right away. I have been using this replacement for about 2 months now and it seems to be working well. However, there was one incident with this replacement. A couple weeks ago after leaving the brush in the charger overnight to fully charge, the brush only lasted one 2 minute cycle and then indicated that the battery was low again. After another full charge, it seems to be behaving. For now.
It is a nice little product but I can only recommend this product with the great customer service.
