I'm pleased with the sonic toothbrush except that the nicad battery is not replaceable. A minor alteration in the design would make this product "green", allowing the user to replace a malfunctioning battery.

This is a great brush for teens

It's simple, portable, affordable, and makes a great gift for teenagers. I've had the high end series and love it. Unfortunately they do not sell it anymore so I have the elite now. It's still a great brush.
Pros: better than manual brushing, simple features, two brushes in box
Cons: heavy not very ergonomic, longer charge time than the higher end brushes

The head leaks toothpaste into the head of the handel,which makes it a pain in the butt. I like the product,but maybe I should have bought a different one. My last one I bought was when they first came out, it lasted 20 yrs. Back then they only made one kind ! I would like too have one of those again.
Cons: the head leaks water and tooth paste into the hand

The toothbrush I got is really effective and works so much better than a regular toothbrush removing all the plaque from your teeth. Although I wish it had a slim design and was not so massive.
Pros: effective
Cons: too big and massive

I love the way this brush cleans my teeth. This is my 2nd sonicare brush. The first one we had for 4 years before the battery died. The first one had a timer on it, I wish the 2nd one would have had a timer.
Pros: clean teeth
Cons: no timer
