It's almost like getting a professional cleaning

I bought one of these on the recommendation of my dentist. I was rather skeptical, but he was so enthusiastic that it seemed worth a try. I'm glad I did! These 'sonic' toothbrushes get your teeth far cleaner than I ever managed with a manual toothbrush; it's almost like getting a professional cleaning. There are some odd things about it: You need to turn it on after putting it in your mouth to prevent the 'sonic' action from spraying water or toothpaste all over, and if you touch the hard plastic part of the brush end against a tooth there's a vibration/sound that's rather startling the first time it happens. But, you get used to it quickly enough. The way the brush works (by vibrating instead of you physically pushing it against your teeth and gums) also seems to be quite gentle on my gums.

This product has made my dental care a breeze.

I have used a Phillips Sonicare toothbrush in various styles for years. I am sure I have had better dental checkups as a result of using these products.
Pros: the timer helps make sure i brush long enough.
Cons: i wish it had a large travel case.

Love the razor which I bought for my wife and I decided to buy a little nicer one for myself. Both are very good performers and very quiet to operate.

The bristles seem hard compared to the old unit I had and a little narrow. Would like to see widens and softer brushes

I love this brush. I have bought one for every person in my family. My college students took it with them to college. Our dental appointments have been outstanding. The dentist asks at each appointment what toothbrush do we use and she is not at all surprised to find out that we use the soniccare.
Pros: the timer built into this product keepright amount

The instuctions should make it "Extremely "clear about keeping the base of the tooth brush and the surface of the charger pristine clean at all times.
Charging suffers and folks think the toothbrush is inferior because it doesnt work well.
I have "saved" a number of friends units just by cleaning both surfaces.
