Love my dentist now.

This is my second Philips toothbrush. My dentist says I must eat more candy and use soft drinks to rinse with because my checkups are so easy. I see him twice a year and my cleanings actually take no more than 10 minutes! My Philips toothbrushes have saved my teeth and saved me money on dental work.
Pros: easy to travel with

makes brushing easier

This toothbrush has made a huge difference in my teeth care. I love it and have great check up at the dentist now. Well I am also more attentive to flossing but the brushing part is easier. I feel that I am spending enough time brushing. It is very easy to use. My only complaint is that there is not enough information on using the brush. How it should feel if you are using it correctly and how to hold it and how it should be touching your teeth. I felt it took months before I was using it correctly but there is no one to ask and no good tutorials. I know brushing your teeth? The thing is that this is a different kind of brushing. You don't need to rub it against your teeth and you don't need to work it hard but how do you know if it is working and you are doing it correctly? SO more instruction and feedback would be great.

Replacement brush heads are very expensive

I like the toothbrush very much but the replacement heads are very expensive. The toothbrush cleans my teeth very well. The handle kept a charge for over 3 weeks while I was away from home and could not recharge it.
Pros: does a great job cleaning my teeth, handle held a charge during 3 weeks away from home
Cons: replacement heads are very expensive., replacement heads don't last that long, inside of handle has acquired a bad odor

Using a manual toothbrush cannot compare to the cleaning I get with my sonicare.
Pros: cleaning ability
Cons: i miss the 30 second timer i had on my 1st one.

The toothbrush is a good toothbrush, but lack of a 30 second interval reminder makes this an average product..

The toothbrush is easy to use and includes a 2 minute timer. However, it does not beep or pause at each 30 second interval. The lack of this feature makes the toothbrush an average product.

THe Phillips Sonicare is the absolute best toothbrush I have ever used. It came recommended by my Dentist and Periodonist, who recommend your product to all of their patients. This is one of my favorite gifts to give at Birthdays and Christmas. Love it!!!!

Works as advertised. Easy to maintain. Not extremely portable because charger and cord has to be packed in addition to the brush and handle unit. Using it because recommended by dentist as one way to maintain gum health after periodontic surgery and treatment. Using together with other strategies i.e. floss and interdental brushes.
