Cleans well

Love the Sonicare! Ever since buying one years ago, my trip to the dentists have been much less "uneventful". If you're prone to cavities and other teeth problems, the money you spend to purchase one of these WILL save you hundreds at the dentist office in the long run. The only nitpick I have with the HX5351 is it does not pause after 30 seconds to let you know to start working on the other side of your teeth. That must be on one of the more expensive models, but I wish Philips would make it standard on all of them. Still, you get used to it and learn to gauge the 30 seconds yourself. Like I say, it's a nitpick. I would go nuts if Sonicare disappeared! If you've never tried one and you're on the fence because of the cost, give it a shot anyway. You won't regret it.
Pros: quick dentist visits!
Cons: no pause to let you know it's been 30 seconds., expensive (but worth it)

Having had these in the past and liking them, i thought this would be certainly similar. I can't get the brush head to sit properly in the handle thus it is loud, vibrates and drips water from somewhere I have yet to figure out. The package should have said it didn't have the 30 second pause feature which I was used to on my 2 previous appliances.
Pros: it looks good.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Really gets teeth clean

Cons: does not hold charge very well (when traveling)

Much, much better results than with a toothbrush

Cleans great. Makes you brush two full minutes. Dentist loved the results but you still need to floss :-(
Only downside is that it needs to be dried every time you use it.
Pros: cleans great!

I was hesitant to spend extra on a "toothbrush". My sonic is not a toothbrush, Sonic is a lean mean cleaning tool. My oral health has improved 100%, my 6month cleaning was a breeze. Thank you Sonic

Sonicare toothbrush, head and carry case

I have used the sonicare toothbrushes for 10 years, and have only praise for the way it has kept my gums healthy.
I have been giving them as gifts to family.
This is great as when christmas comes around, the heads make GREAT stocking stuffers, and I always know they will be used

A+++ dental care cleaning system

Love this Sonicare system! Had an older version and this one is much more efficient and holds the charge longer. Easy to disassemble for cleaning.
Pros: travel case, long charge, great cleaning
Cons: wish the travel case was soft
