This model is VERY easy to clean.

I have not had any negative issues with my Philips Essence but what I MOST appreciate is what I mentioned in the summary. This is so easy to keep clean! When my day is overloaded with activities, I know I can just do a quick wipe down and put it back in the charging base and get on with my work.

Gum disease improved

I have been using a Philips Sonicare Essnce toothbrush for the last 2.5 years. My dental hygenist and dentist are impressed with the improvement in my peridontal disease. I have braces and find it is much easier to clean my teeth with this toothbursh than with a manual toothbrush.
Pros: improved gum disease
Cons: difficult to keep it clean

We (all 8 family members) use this toothbrush because it works! And it's easy to use. We get great checkups at the dentist because our teeth are very clean. It saves us money in the long run.

Good value for a sonic brush

had the product for a few months now and it keeps working as promised. Much better than battery operated brushes I had before.
Pros: good entry price
Cons: need to take a part when traveling so won't break

Best toothbrush I've ever had

My dentist recommended the Sonicare toothbrush. I got mine the same day. I cannot believe how well it cleans my teeth, especially around the gum area.
I am so pleased with my Sonicare that I recommended my daughter purchase one.
Pros: cleans well

A very effective product that is a plaque-buster that leave one's mouth feeling genuinely clean and fresh.
Pros: very effective; holds a good charge
