My mouth after using this toothbrush feel fresh and cleaner.
The tarter and plax stains have lessened with each use.
I've seen and heard a lot of positive spin regarding this product and I'm truly elated and amazed that this is a remarkable toothbrush!

In the main, an excellent product but still a slight disappointment. The shaft of the toothbrush should have been textured to make it easier to grip when wet. Also, I miss the fifth 30-second brushing segment that had been built into the previous model.
Pros: cleans very well
Cons: several small design flaws

Quality has gotten cheap

The quality of the toothbrush and heads is very cheaply made compared to previous ones. Teh toothbrush heads are way too small and the overall quality is cheap, cheap, cheap. Very disappointing.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Happy User of Sonicare for 13 years

I bought 5 for Christmas gifts. I personally have been using mine since 9-3-99 which was the advanced model, which by the way still works. However, I bought an Elite model 9-28-03 so I would have one in 2 homes. Of course I like the elite better as it is lighter and I can use the smaller brush heads. I use it 2 times a day and my dental check ups have been very good. I just love the product, as before the Sonicare came out I had tried other brands, which are no longer sold. I can understand why because those were a complete disaster and never held up more than 6 months, something about the tooth paste gummed up the gears. Sonicare is just great and I am so glad I decided to try it after my previous experience when electrics first came out. I will never change brands.
