My teeth and gums are in much better shape than they would be using a standard toothbrush.

When using the Sonicare daily I can see the difference in it's cleaning ability versus a regular tooth brush. My mouth and breath are cleaner and fresher. My wife 's checkups with her Dentist have improved and she is not having to undergo expensive gum work. I thank you for that.

ultrasonic brushing action is outstanding

I love the ultrasonic brushing action. However,for me, I find the power unit must be water-tight for a toothbrush-it is not. Replacing the entire brushing head because of a worn-out brush is not only unnecessarily costly, but also wasteful. Finally, and this is only for me personally, I would prefer a smaller circular brush configuration for easier manipulation behind the front teeth (for me the existing brush is awkward in this respect). Otherwise, an outstanding product for the teeth. RPK

Some room for improvement

I had issues with my brand new Sonicare where after one complete cycle of use, the battery no longer held the charge. Sonicare was great about replacing the item quickly.
Consider adding a rubbery, textured surface to the backside of the toothbrush to minimize the plastic vibration against teeth when brushing. This would also enhance the cleaning properties of the brush by proving two cleaning surfaces. Many manual toothbrushes also have this nice feature.

My husband and I both have one and are extremely pleased with them. My teeth feel so much cleaner since using this toothbrush and my visits with the hygienest are much more pleasant. We travel quite a bit so am really happy with the travel case that came with it.
Our grandsons (9 and 7) both have one as well.

I bought one of these for myself and one for my daughters to share last Christmas. Since we've been using them our gums feel great, our teeth are whiter and our dentist can tell a difference in how clean our teeth are when we go for our 6 month cleanings. I'm certain that this product is helping to keep our teeth and gums healthier and our smiles brighter. I would recommend this product to anyone that wants clean healthy teeth.
Pros: the 2 minute cycle
