Keep the Sonicare Essence toothbrush charged

We purchased this Sonicare Essence toothbrush as a replacement for my wife's Sonicare Essence. Our original purchase came with 2 toothbrushes and only 1 charger. We kept my toothbrush in the charger when it wasn't in use and only charged my wife's when the battery ran down. My toothbrush is still working great after several years, but the battery in my wife's toothbrush would no longer hold a charge. We now have 2 chargers. We like the Sonicare Essence and highly recommend it.

So easy to use!

I had a bit of an adjustment from a standard toothbrush, but once I've "gotten the hang of it" I think it is much more effective to making my teeth whiter. I just have to remember to keep my mouth closed--not an easy taste for a talkative woman...
Pros: whiter teeth
Cons: very different from standard brushing

I liked the price and the design....flat side so the tooth brush doesn't roll when you put tooth paste on the brushes. But, I had another style of Phillips and had bought a 6 pack of brushes for that one. I thought I could use those brushes for this one. Now, I see that each style has its own brush style and they are not interchangeable...a real detriment, in my mind since I have no use for the opened pack and can't return unused brushes. Would like to have had a picture of the brush type and style number on the package.
Pros: flat side so handle does not roll
Cons: no interchangeable brushes

We have been using the Sonicare tooth brushes for several years. This brush lacks the beep sound that we heard every 30 seconds on our former Sonicare brush. We miss it. Furthermore, nowhere on the box does it specify that this brush lacks that feature. We think that is a serious flaw.

I had a more expensive model in the past , it got worn out after lots of use . I can't do without this product .
Pros: cleans better than anything else .
Cons: no timer no big !

Great product if you get one that works

This is my third set of these. The batteries in the first died and I bought a second set. The batteries in the second set never seemed to last as long as advertised but by the time I realized this, they were out of warranty. I bought the third set when they were on sale and held them for about 3 months waiting for the previous set to get to not lasting 3 days - at which point I opened the newest set to find that one of the two handles would not charge at all. Luckily I had purchased them from a place that accepts returns with no questions so I swapped for a new set. That set seems to last about 10-11 days between charges and that's satisfactory. So check the length the charge lasts before tossing the box and receipt.
Pros: great on teeth
Cons: battery life not always as promised

My dental hygienist recommended this product after I completed a whitening process, to prolong the results and protect the investment I had made in whitening. It works, and my mouth really feels good after using the Sonicare.
