This product is a fantastic product. It is especially helpful for those of us who suffer from Parkinsons or Essential Tremmor. This product has really made it easier for me to brush my teeth! I have used this product for 8 years, and I love it.

Great speed and gentle on teeth and gums

I love the way the toothbrush cleans my teeth. They are literally "squeeky clean" after brushing. I feel confident that I am doing good hygienic care for my teeth with this brush. I owned one of these 20years ago and used other brushes, because the replacement tooth brush heads are pricey. I returned to the battery operated sonic care toothbrush, but nothing works as good as the chargeable sonic care Essence, except, maybe the other chargeable models by Phillips.

Excellent instrument for teeth, gum and overall oral care

One of the best features of this toothbrush is its oscillating speed. One of the least desirable features is its oscillating speed.
It is excellent at removing plaque and "film" leaving teth literally dentist-clean. But the speed is SO fast it is not so good for gums or for occasions when that level of speed is not needed or wanted. That's when I do not us this brush and instead pick up my slower -- gentler -- Braun. "Ahh," gums say, "thank you", to me. Tell me how to simulate that slower cleaning when I do want it and this Phillips would be ideal.

Love my toothbrush!

I love it and my Dentist raves about it...and the job it does on my teeth/oral hygiene. I have bought each member of my family a brush and now the grandsons are demanding theirs! Too soon and too expensive for little mouths...unless you come up with something soon!
Only complaint is that I must take apart my toothbrush and head to clean it once or twice a week. Would love for you to come up with a chip so that I could pack my brush and take it along on trips with me...but I do anyway by packing up the base.
Replacement heads are expensive but the brush does a great job of cleaning! Thanks
Pros: great cleaning! feels clean!
Cons: price of the new replacement heads

Loved it until it didn't work

I loved my toothbrush until after about one year, it no longer will charge enough to last the recommended 2 minutes to brush teeth. It cuts off half way through brushing.

Great toothbrush

I love brushing my teeth with my Sonicare toothbrush. I am really a lazy person and the effort required to move a manual toothbrush back and forth across my teeth and around my mouth was making my arm muscles tired. Now the Sonicare toothbrush does all the work. All I have to do is hold it against my teeth. Because of this I know I'm brushing longer and doing a better job. I brush longer than the 30 seconds per section and most times I have to start the Sonicare again after the 2 minute shutoff, to finish brushing. I should have bought one of these years ago, and I'll never be without one again.
Pros: light weight, quiet
Cons: replacement brushes are expensive
