Keeps on brushing

I am very satisfied with my Sonicare Electric Toothbrush. I cleans well; so says my dental hygienest.
It maintains a charge for 1 1/2 weeks.
It was reasonalby priced, well below others I see on the shelf.
It is lasting well. It is over 8 months old and runs as it did new.
It is light and the handle is well designed to make brushing easy.
By hand I used to brush for up to 5 minutes to keep my teeth clean, but I'm getting good results brushing with my Philips brush for about 2 minutes twice a day.
It maintains a charge for 1 1/2 weeks.

It is a great product, but could be refined a bit.

My dentist says my teeth are great. I use the sonic at bedtime and a regular power brush in the morning.
Pros: great cleaning, like the timer
Cons: too tall for my cabinet, could use a warning for low battery, hard handle vibrates my teeth when it bumps them

needs redesign to use replaceable batteries

This is my second Sonicare toothbrush. I also liked the first one but eventually it stopped holding a charge and would turn itself off after shorter and shorter brushing times. The one improvement that I would really like to see is a model that allows for battery replacement.
