The Best Toothbrush on the market

I bought this Sonicare about 3 months ago. My first Sonicare lasted years, maybe 5 or near 6. I have minimal plaque and tartar on my teeth, so that my teeth cleanings at the dentist are short and sweet, and my teeth are in excellent condition, the best of my life (76 years)
Pros: a good value for quality and longevity
Cons: requires cleaning every few days

Teeth feel great!

Using this toothbrush, my teeth feel as clean as if I had been to the dentist for my semi-annual cleaning. Using a manual toothbrush, they never felt as clean as they do now using the Sonicare!

The only thing I do not like is the design. It is difficult to clean inside the handle. If you are not aware it can get dirty inside with water or dried toothpaste and it is difficult to get your finger in there to clean it out.
Cons: difficult to clean inside handle

A superb toothbrush

I had a Braun Oral-B for years and was satisfied, but I decided to try the Phillips because my wife was so happy with her Phillips. With the new lower prices, it made it much easier to give it a shot. The Phillips works great, feels wonderful in cleaning my teeth, the battery lasts a long time and recharges simply. The way it breaks down for traveling is a plus. It is a great product.
Pros: wonderful feel on teeth

This product enables better dental care.

The sonic action does appear to clean the surfaces that it reaches better than a manual toothbrush. For an initial product design, it meets my expectation. It enables more thorough brushing in less time. Here is more detail regarding the cons below:
- Sanitary concern: water and fluid leak into the place where the replaceable brush attaches to the power unit. This becomes difficult to clean and is also probably not very sanitary (some people probably don't clean it).
- Additional brush head choice 1: I have stubborn tarter and plaque. I have to also use a manual MEDIUM bristol to thoroughly clean my teeth (I alternate my manual with the Sonic). I wish Sonic had a firmer choice.
- Brush head choice 2: more bristle length variation to get in-between teeth better. It seems the existing brushhead is too flat and I know it is not getting between teeth as well as my manual brush which has greater variation in bristle lenght.
Pros: sonic action cleans better
Cons: water leaks into the brush attachment area, there should be more brush choices

Brushes teeth without damaging gums

I always brushed my teeth vigorously. No cavities, but my gums were receding from excessive brushing. Dentist recommended the Sonicare, which does at least as good a job cleaning my teeth, and my gums are recovering without expensive and painful periodontal treatment.
Pros: easy to learn to use, easy to take apart to clean, very thorough brushing, feels good to use like a massage
Cons: brush and handle drip onto/over the base messy
