Not the quality they use to be

This is my third Sonicare toothbrush and love the way it cleans the teeth. But, sadly as with most things these days the quality is not the same. There is always a layer of tooth paste gunk in the charger,,,it is leaking down from the head after use and have never had this problem before. Also the charger loves to blink most of the time, never had that problem before either.
Pros: great cleaning
Cons: not quality like they use to be

I have used a Sonicare toothbrush product for approximtely 8 years. Prior to using the Sonicare product and presently I have always taken extreme care of my teeth including daily flossing. I had a lot of dental work done on my teeth from a dental college in Dallas, TX at about the age of 29. I was trained and it was preached to me to continue taking care of my teeth on a daily basis once the dental work was completed after about a year of work including fillings, three permanent bridges (one tooth per bridge), etc. I am now 68 years old. I took the warning seriously. Now back to the Sonicare product. I love the way my teeth look and feel after a good Sonicare brushing! My mouth feels as if I have just left the dentist office after getting my twice a year cleaning and checkup. Although I did a great job of taking care of my teeth prior to using the Sonicare product I feel I am doing an even better job now. Each time I visit the dentist office, I am reminded of what a great job I do in taking care of my teeth. By the way, the dentist office did recommend the Sonicare toothbrush even though I was doing a good job prior to using the product. No, I did not purchase my Sonicare from the dentist office, nor did they try to sell me one. I purchased my Sonicare from a local drugstore. In summary, I love my Sonicare toothbrush and I have successfully recommended its use to others. Some have taken my advice and advised how they now look forward to brushing their teeth! I too look forward to brushing my teeth. This is one great product.

These were expedted to be replacments for units used for over two years. Surprise was that the newer model were lacking functionality in the earlier model - 30 second timer, new user mode. Now I wonder what else was changed. I liked the original, and can use the newer model ok, but taking features away is a surprise to repeat customers. BTW, this model was selected since it looked identical to the earlier model.

My teeth feel much cleaner when I brush them with my electric brush since the moving bristles are able to get into the crevices.

I would like it better if it had the 30 seconds to show how to change location in the teets.

Can be loud at times, brush head vibrates louder sometimes. Otherwise an excellent toothbrush for the money
