I had a Sonicare before and I really liked it

I had a Sonicare before and when it became unusable , because
the unit I had was discontinued and I could no longer get a rechargeable battery for it I purchased a new one. It gives a great brushing quality and I have received complements on how much better my teeth looked. When this one dies I will continue to buy Sonicare toothbrushes. In addition it is recomended by my dentist and hygentist.

Cleans soooo much better than a regular brush. My Dentist reported major improvement on how much cleaner my teeth were on my last cleaning. Awesome!

Had the product for 3 months and then it stopped working

Had this tootbrush for 3 months and then it stopped working. Piece of garbage otherwise it worked fine.
Pros: ease of use
Cons: does not last long

Cleans well and easy to use

I bought this at the recommendation of getting an electric toothbrush from my dentist. I love how easy it is to use, especially if you have arthritis or a muscle disease like I have. My teeth feel very clean. The timer is great too-ensures you brush a full two minutes. I haven't taken it anywhere and keep it plugged in at all times, so I can't comment on the battery. The only problem I have is that no matter how hard I try, I still splatter toothpaste everywhere. But it's still worth it.

I have used electric toothbrushes for over 25 years and have tried several brands/ models. I find the Philips Sonicare by far the least satisfactory for my needs. It is significantly larger and louder than any other models I have used, presumably because of its ultrasonic engineering. The fact that it consists of 2 pieces (the toothbrush head piece screws into the handle base that fits into the charger) is a detractor because that allows water and dripping toothpaste to get into the chamber that the toothbrush section screws into ... which requires regular cleaning and drying out.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It's Great!

I bought one for everyone in our family and our dentist visits go much quicker with less cleaning on the teeth. Everyone loves it. One of my boys had a Herpes Appliance in his mouth for over a year and had a hard time using it around the bars, but after he had it removed, he started using it and loves the ease of it.
I would recommend this to a friend!
