I bought the product because I wanted to give my daughter one and the price was reasonable.
Only complaint I have is that it isn't designed to prevent the leaks from seeping through the mode & staining the holder.
I realize it has to be cleaned often and I do! But it's gross.

I had a sonicare toothbrush for several years and I really liked how well it cleaned my teeth & gums. It was destroyed in a tornado and I am just now able to replace.

This is an excellent toothbrush because since I started using it, my dentist has commented on the improvement of the cleaning of my teeth.
It is timed so you get the proper amount of brushing time and the chargeable battery is still working perfectly over a year later. Changing the brush heads are very easy also.

Good but not great

This toothbrush performs as expected. It's pretty good. It's also not cheap though and the replacement brushes are really too expensive. There's also a huge amount of waste with each brush. It would be better if just the 'head' could be replaced instead of 'half the toothbrush'. This is really what makes the difference for me when it comes to recommending this product or not.
Pros: good brushing experience
Cons: expensive (especially replacement brushes), replacement brushes are extremely wasteful
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

i have been using sonic care for years. i have given them as gifts to my children and friends. i really love the product. my dental hygienist says that i have one of the cleanest mouths she works on.

Cons: i have had to replace twice because, of a cracked handle but willing to do because, i love the product.
