I wouldn't trade this for any other toothebrush.

This is our second Sonic. The first one lasted a really long time. Ther was no question when we replaced it with another Sonic.
Cons: didn't have the pause mode .

A Fine Tool

If I had gotten this toothbrush when I was young I believe I would have taken much better care of my teeth than I did and the periodontal problems I've faced would have been greatly minimized. At the end of the day I'm always tired and it's easy to be lazy and just go through the motions with my dental care, but this brush takes most of the work out of it and I just close my eyes and let the machine do its work. It's a very fine tool. John

The toothbrush clearly does a good job at what it's designed to do: clean your teeth. Bonus: the battery stays charged for a LONG time. Comes with a carrying case for trips (but not the charger). In a week away from home, it didn't run down at all. Replacement brushes are quite expensive. It's a little scary: the frequency is relatively high, and if you bump other teeth while brushing, it "bangs" them and makes you feel as if you're knocking the enamel off. My wife prefers our older "slow" electric toothbrush. But I like this one a lot.
Pros: cleans well, long running between charges
Cons: expensive, may be scary

Love the timer!!!

I love the fact that it stops every 30 seconsd so you know you have brushed long enough in each quadrent of your mouth. My mouth feels so clean after using it and it's reduced my plaque build up by quite a bit!
Pros: timer (on quadrents), stays charged a long time
