I liked my 1st Sonicare toothbrush very much but the last 2 purchases have left me frustrated because the brush would stop working after a few brushes and wouldn't hold a charge. I can see that I bought a lemon on the first brush that stopped working but not twice.
Pros: it's great if it works
Cons: how can it fail after a few months?
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Love the way this toothbrush works. I spend a lot less time in the dentist's chair during a cleaning because I find myself brushing longer with the Sonicare and the dentist has commented on the reduction of plaque that needs to be scraped off. This is our second unit and the one thing we don't like is that, while the handle holds a charge for a good amount of time when it is new, it seemed to quickly reach a point where it would not hold a charge at all. There was not even enough to finish brushing once. Longer lasting battery would be awesome.
Pros: much cleaner and brighter teeth
Cons: battery life

Easy to use timed brushing ensures a thorough teeth cleaning and gum massage. One just needs to make sure to keep mouth closed while changing directions.
Pros: vibrations gently assists removal of debris
Cons: timing seems a little long

I replaced another older electric toothbrush with this one. This new one does everything I need it to do. I have no complaints whatsoever. I would highly recommend this product.

I received my Sonicare as a gift almost a year ago and have been loving it ever since. It took me a day or so to get used to the vibrations since it kept tickling but now I don't even notice. You can't beat the clean that it gives your teeth. After a few days my teeth were, literally, squeaky clean. It also came with a travel case so when I travel I just unscrew the toothbrush head and pop it in and travel with ease knowing my charge will last me two weeks.
Pros: easy to use, cleans great, long life battery, easy to travel with

I love how powerful this amazing toothbrush is. You can really feel the difference after you brush with it. I also enjoy the 2 minute automatic brushing time because it helps me do a better job with my brushing. I highly recommend.
