Greates tooth brush I have ever used. Does and excellent job and the programming to eliminate the guess work is great.

Greates tooth brush I have ever used. Does an excellent job and its programming eliminates any effort and the guess work. It works easy and great! Then just rinse with mouthwash and protect your gums, teeth, and heart!

Not powerful enough; first base (battery) had to be replaced.

I prefer a manual toothebrush, as I feel it does a better cleaning job. I had to order a replacement base (bad battery) shortly after I bought it.
Also, the replacement brushes are too expensive.

It has gotten so loud I'm afraid to wake my son. It wasn't loud in the beginning but suddenly it is extremely loud.

This is the way to brush your teeth, there is no doubt in my mind. I bought this style because I had one before and still had extra brush heads. Make sure you separate the pieces and rinse it out is my only advice, and maybe the company has improved the design on the newer styles.
Pros: great results, timer to help get in a routine and assure coverage
Cons: toothpaste gets in between handle and brush head

This is my second Sonicare toothbrush, and I'm completely spoiled by them. My dental checkups improved dramatically when I started using the Sonicare, and now I'm simply not satisfied using an ordinary toothbrush.
