Love this toothbrush

Teeth never felt so clean. Specially love the 2 minute timer. I know for a fact now I brush for 2 minutes. Recommend this highly.

The essence model is a great starter electric toothbrush. It it easy to use and the timer is just right to ensure to get all areas in your mouth.
Pros: very easy to use
Cons: brush head should come in a slightly larger size

At first, I was very impressed with the toothbrush's power and head style. It did not clean my teeth as well as cheaper electric toothbrushes, however, even after using it for a month. When I went to clean the unit, the interior of the handle had molded. I will not buy another sonicare toothbrush again.
Cons: didn't clean effectively, molded after only a month's use

Love the product, but really miss the 30 second interval timer the original one had. I have to watch the clock (somewhat compulsive) to be sure I get 30 seconds on each area.

I had extensive dental surgery several years ago. The hygienist advised me to check out an electric toothbrush and mentioned the Sonic brand. I purchased one that very day. I use it every day; morning and night and sometimes in between. I like the fact that you can massage the gums as well as clean your teeth. Phillips Sonicare Essence Rechargeable Sonic Toothbrush, HX5351 has definitely helped me maintain healthy teeth and gums. And enabled me to give big, beautiful smiles to all. Incredibly reliable

The new sonic toothbrush is great but the review really reflects our satisfaction with our first one. We used it for more than 7 years before it finally gave out. Any product that lasts that long with daily use deserves to be replaced with another one from tha same company..

Dead before One year

My toothbrush died before one year of use. I don't have my receipt anymore, but if i did I would send it in. The battery is completely dead- there should be a way to replace. It won't last for more than a few seconds.
Pros: good while it lasted
Cons: early death
