This is a great product; I believe it has improved the overall health of my gums as well as keeping my teeth as clean as possible in between dentists visits. I highly recommend! I have since purchased three additional brushes for my children.
Pros: cost, reliability, effectiveness

My dentist is very pleased with the results of using my Philips toothbrush. I was hesitant at first, only to find, I will never use another toothbrush other than this! Best toothbrush for the health of your teeth and gums. I highly recommend it.

The toothbrush was very abrasive; not like the Sonic I had used for several years.

I was greatly disappointed with the new Sonic I purchased. The action was so strong that I was terrified to use it on my front teeth. The only reason that I bought it was that my previous Sonic has to be charged continuously--I still use it frequently, but do not use the new one--a complete waste.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
