Good stuff ... but expensive!!!

Good stuff, but price of brush-heads is rather exaggerated. I guess this is where Philips makes their profit. Contemplating not using it after the first set of them gets old.
Cons: expensive brush-tips

Fantastic cleaning ability

This toothbrush is incredible! I am one of those "floss every day" type, so I didn't think that it would be significantly better when i switched. I was totally wrong. Brushing with sonicare makes my teeth whiter, cleaner, and they stay cleaner longer. With my manual brush, if I brush in the morning, by about 4pm my teeth feel kind of gross again. If i use sonicare in the AM, my teeth keep that smooth, clean feel all day! I also use a rubber tip GUM brand pick after flossing and brushing. Used after I manually brush, the amount of plaque I get is ridiculous. If i use the tip after sonicare brushing, the plaque left behind is totally minimal. The last few dental checks I have had the hygienist has spent only a few minutes of scraping. She actually commented that I had the cleanest teeth of any of her patients who visited in the last month.
Pros: best cleaning job of any toothbrush ever!
Cons: no skimping on brush time with the built in timer

Great Toothbrush!

Love this toothbrush. Has the automatic timer that shuts the brush off at two minutes, so you know you're brushing long enough. My teeth feel so clean afterwards. A clean that you can't get from a manual brush.
Cons: needs 30 second interval beeps

While the product has good features, i.e., easy to clean, no need to recharge that often, looks good, nice carrying case, I am not happy with its performance. I don't feel the brush does such a great job. After brushing, I don't have that fresh just brushed feeling. If I run my tongue over my teeth they don't have that "clean feeling". I am very disappointed. I made several attempts to take it back, but the time expired.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

When I ask my dentist what he thought about the Sonic toothbrushes he said, "Oh, that's all I use." At my next dentist visit I had almost no plac. I will only use this toothbrush from now on.
