The Philips Sonocare is great for gum improvement.

This product gets specific credit for the improvement of my gums and gum line after using for just weeks. I do try to brush for the full 2 minutes morning and evening and my dental hygienst measured my gum lines and said they had improved in all areas.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great dental checkups

My dentist suggested that I use an electric toothbrush. I began using the Sonicare product and have had successful dental visits ever isince. I like the portability of it. The hard case is great for traveling. The timer is a great feature as well.
Pros: timer

I love using this toothbrush. My teeth feel 10 times cleaner than using a manual toothbrush. I do not even have to brush for too long or too hard. I am never going to use a manual toothbrush again.

Love this product! Used other brand electric brush before. This one does a better job. Teeth stay cleaner longer. Wish I didn't have to change the entire brush mechanism when I need just a new brush.
Pros: clean teeth and gums
Cons: change entire mechanism is expensive

The sonic appears to do a great job but I have a few suggestions:
I liked the round head and find this long traditional brush head to be less easy to maneuver. Also, I find the handle to be too big around - it should be thinner.
The timer feature and the charger are great. I wish there was some way to keep it charged and take it on extended trips (a week or more) without dragging the charger stand with me.
Pros: very effective

West Virginia Clean Toof!

I am from West Virginia and this brush is awesome at cleaning my tooth! Its Pearly White. Comfortable, no irritation, no cavitation and it times your brushing 120 seconds or 2 minutes and it turns itself off, but feel free to press the button again to work on those tricky areas.
It trains your gums for 15 days working up to full speed, it cleans very well even at the intro speeds, so I would not recommend skipping the buildup cause this thing is lightning fast and you might hurt your gums if you jump in full speed!!!!
It doesnt take a lot of effort to brush anymore, paste + a splash of water and guide it around on your teeth if you are lucky enough to have more than one and it does all the work, dont forget the back! I turn it off and brush my tongue as well, I didnt enjoy the mach speed hitting my uvula, manual style works for me.
The battery lasts a long time!! I havent charged my brush for 3 weeks.. brushing 1-2 times a day - so its safe to bring on vacation for a while without worries of it dying.
This thing is the best brush I have ever had, teeth are ridiculously white and smooth, and my gums seems to enjoy the ride as well.
Pros: clean!, fast!, effortless!, it counts better than me!, super battery!, saves water!, saves teeth!
Cons: might be expensive but i got mine for 25$, rinse brush lower in the sink to prevent splash.
