I adore this curling iron. It has all the features you could want, and is very sturdy. It has a good amount of ending you can hold onto and not worry about getting the hot iron. The clamp gently but very firmly grips your hair. I love using this curling iron!!!

I’ve had this wand for years and it has been faithful to work each time! A huge plus is that it is DUAL VOLTAGE 120/240V so I can use it in Europe with a plug adapter.
I would recommend this to a friend!

My curling iron doesn’t take 30 seconds to heat up. The instructions aren’t clear. Would not recommend these curling irons

This is the second Instant Heat I have bought. I lost my other one and was totally devastated. I love these, mainly because how fast they get hot and ready. I'm known for forgetting that I turned on my curling iron and then it's time to go and it shut itself off, which is another great thing about these irons. It only takes literally 1 minute or less and it's ready to curl my hair.

Poorly thought out design

This has got to be one of the dumbest designs ever. The dial to adjust the temperature is in the worst spot-I am constantly moving just while trying to use the iron. I try avoiding holding the iron where you should because of this., Therefore I end up loosing grip on the handle, which is too small, imo, and end up with a hot curling iron dropping from my hand-into my lap, onto my head, you get the jist.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
