The screws that hold the spoon are not smooth. My thin hair gets tangled up around the screws. The only way to un-twist the hair is by pulling, that breaks the hair. My hair is getting broken and damaged every time I use the curling iron.

This is a very good curling iron . I like mine ,However the tip of the iron needs more area for you to put your hand so it can help direct the iron where you want it to go it is just to short.
