Great for the short run.

Great until the new ran out. This shaver works best with the cream and I thought the heads wore out rather quickly. First it became next to impossible to get the Nivea Cream and then I couldn't find the replacement heads.
It may be possible to source the needed parts still, but as others have said, it's just cheaper to buy a new shaver.

Very poor from Philips , after a view years (3) you are not more able to get replacementparts (replacementhaed , etc.) . In Case you find it , it is way overpriced ! You may buy a new one for less !?

The blades and chamber for Nivea shave gel works great. The blades glide across my beard cutting close with comfortable ease. However, one cannot locate this item in any major retail outlet chain. Therefore, shopping for a replacement directs one to Phillips Norelco website.

Before my step daughter purchased my first Phillips shaving unit, I wouldn't use an electric razor. Now, I won't use anything else. I am on my second Phillips electric razor. It does such a great job of giving me a clean shave. I don't get the 5 o'clock shadows by noon any more. It takes less time to get the job done, and my face feels much smoother than with a regular razor and shaving cream.
Pros: clean smooth shave quickly.
Cons: hard to find replacement heads.
