I bought this a couple of weeks ago and I am loving it. There are some many more options available than on a Blu-ray machine. I really am enjoying it.

Roku 3 is Better than Apple TV

Bough this because I thought I would try an alternative to Apple TV (we have both) -- frankly, this is the best. I love the variety of channels and the remote is easy to use.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Have had the three a couple of months now it is faster than the one and two. The headphone jack is useful when I watch movies and my wife reads. One note if you use outside surround sound unless it is driven from your TV you won't be able to connect the Roku to it if your sound device doesn't accept the hdmi and then pass it through to the TV set.

Disappointing! At first glance, it appears to have tons of channels, and options, but when you get right down to it. Everything is a for pay product, and things that seem like they would be available i.e. accessibility to Youtube, and free internet streaming channels are blocked, or tied up by 'for pay' apps and subscriptions to monthly apps.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Works great. The earphone's work good. Works so much better and has so much more stuff than apple tv. I just gave mine away no use for it now.

I have cancer I have to stay in for hours at a time....... This little electronic box brings the outside to me :-) just wish it had the music app Deezer as well as Spotify.

I love my roku, it's fun for the family and lot of movie channels to choose from. the only thing that is a problem is that when I use my USB I have to reset the device to get the USB to work again..
