Love this thing !

Replaced on line access through Blue Ray disc player from Samsung which we got lots of error messages trying to log into Netflix - Roku works like a charm - EVERY TIME !
Pros: Simple Controls, Attractive Design, Fast Setup, Works every time

I have loved using this product! It has an easy setup and easy UI to navigate so its great for anyone at any age to setup and use. Using this with a Netflix and Hulu subscription alongside a digital antenna for the basic channels we have cut out paying for cable. It has enough for myself, my wife, and my 8 year old son. My only drawback is the lack of some key apps and the amount of quality Apps compared to iOS market that can be streamed to the Apple TV. Roku needs to figure out how to allow the use of AirPlay so that you can stream video from apps on your iPad or iPhone. This would make the Roku Perfect!! Do this and you have a 5 star review.
Pros: Fast Setup, Great App Availability, Improved Audio/Video, Simple Controls, Easy to use, Attractive Design
Cons: Some Major Apps Missing, Lack Of Streming Ability

I use it primarily for Netflix and Redbox Instant Apps. However there are many more applications available in this amazing little box. And the remote that comes with the device is so easy to use. Highly recommended for streaming all kinds of things to your TV.

Very good although hoping for evolution

A very good device if you know what to expect. No browser, but works fine with Chromecast (I'll have to wait for the latter to improve, but still it completes Roku nicely). Also, I'd expect more popular channels too. On the other hand, I am having trouble watching CNet videos: sometimes they are blurry and the sound is awful and it doesn't improve over time. Though, Netflix is always perfect.

Cons: Lack of browser, Does Not Improve Audio/Video, Lack of popular channels

This product has opened a whole new world for me. I reviewed my options for all products that I thought would work for me. I'm NOT tech savvy. Just a little old lady with my cats....and I set it up all by myself with no problem! If you knew me, you would realize what a big deal that is!

Other than the lack of paid channel availability listings in Canada, Roku 3 is a fast, easy to use streaming device with excellent build quality, video resolution and audio output.

I belong to both VUDU and Amazon Prime. This is much faster and better designed than the interface on my Blu-Ray player. Also my Blu-ray has Vudu but not Amazon Prime. It is great that it has a built in receiver for the wireless router.
