Trying to replace cable

Trying to replace cable which is getting too expensive - didn't know much about Roku but $100 is not much money so figure it would be an experiment. Works fine - my first - but heard it's much faster. Speed seems to be fine. I just need to be able to find good content, but since we have Netflix and Amazon Prime, we have a good source of content. Will probably sign up for Hulu+ if we do turn off cable. The only thing I wish I had access to was HBO content.
Pros: My 8 Year Old Loves It, Attractive Design, Fast Setup, Simple Controls, Improved Audio/Video

Great but lacking in a few ways

I was really disappointed that the ROKU does not have a browser like the Logitech I use to own. I was also disappointed that there was not an ESPN app.
Pros: Improved Audio/Video, Fast Setup, Attractive Design, Simple Controls
Cons: No Watchespn, No browser

Not as good as wd home tv for playing movies. The main reason I purchased the ROKU.
Pros: Fast Setup, Simple Controls
Cons: Without Conversion, Can't Play Movies, Does Not Improve Audio/Video

Replaced a WD TV Live. I have been using WD TV for over 5 years. I love having movies on a hard drive and not the cases and disks everywhere. I was looking to upgrade and get some apps (MLB TV and others) WD did not have what I wanted so I tried Roku. Love it. My children love it. It is everything I needed it for +/
Pros: Fast Setup, Attractive Design, Simple Controls, Can Attach Storage, Great apps

Error message, hdcp unauthorized. content disabled. every day I have to reset roku by unplugging, not cool! roku usb should be able to read video files in .flv
