Not sure why I bought this product

Not sure what the advantage is over cable. Did I miss something? I thought I would be able to get cable stations. Stupid me. Sitting here trying to find a station I would watch. Movies are fine, have Netflix but not the complete list available for streaming. Can't get live news, can't get current tv shows, Maybe someone could enlighten me.
Pros: Improved Audio/Video, Simple Controls, Fast Setup
Cons: Bad channel selection, No good

My third Roku is the GREATEST!

It's even better than my other two Roku XS's! The earphones are very usefull for private listening. Still have to ocassionaly reboot to get audio when changing radio stations on Tunein channel.
Pros: Simple Controls, Earphones Are Usefull, Fast Setup, Attractive Design, Improved Audio/Video

Great, but no Watch Espn or Youtube

The Roku 3 Has a lot to offer. I love the quality and ease of use. I'm a college sports nut so I bought the appletv so as to get Watch ESPN and YouTube. It's unfortunate that roku can't secure a contact with these two services. For me it's a deal breaker.
Pros: Simple Controls, Attractive Design, Lots of channels, Good Games, Fast Setup, Improved Audio/Video
Cons: No youtube, No Watch Espn

I loved how simple and easy the setup was...and that says a lot coming from a not-so-tech savvy person such as myself. We were able to start watching streaming videos, shows and movies within minutes. The connection with the Internet has been so good, no buffering or frozen pictures. Definitely a quality product and would highly recommend.

I love being able to move around the house listening to my headphones (with the remote in my pocket) while I cook in the kitchen or work around the house. The range of this ROKU is great.

The Roku is very simple to setup. I do not like the fact that I can't browse the internet with my Roku. This should have been very prominent on the box. I would not have purchased the Roku had I known that I couldn't browse the internet with it.

Roku expands my range of Top Quality T.V

How do I use the product? I was involved in a major accident this spring. I'm on bed rest for spinal recovery. Normal Cable Programing became repedtive and it's loaded with commericals. It made me wonder what I was paying for. At the time, on the internet I was reading many good articles about streaming services. Roku was often mentioned as having a new, easy and accurate Roku 3 box about to come to market. The week it hit the market I ordered the box. My Husband drilled in the new connection and he cleaned up the mess he made drilling through the wall. Sicne then, I've enjoyed better quality choice in my Television selections. We're working our way through the very enjoyable Acorn T.V. program "Martin" right now and enjoying every mintue of it. I'd say Acorn, Indie Flix, Netflicks and Hulu Plus are my favorite chices. I could care less about the religous programing which is added at tremondus rate. I'm not one to play games on television either but, I really do enjoy the ability to start and end a film on my own time rather than at set times through cable. I like the greatly reduced commerical interference and I can select what I watch when I want to watch it.
Pros: Handy Remote, Do It Yourself Programing, Wide Range Of Programing, Easy And Accurate, Indie Films, Great customer support, International Programing, International Films, Easy to use
Cons: Wait Time For Streaming
